What we collect

If you subscribe, we collect your email address and the timestamps needed to record confirmation and unsubscribe requests. When you follow a repository link, we record the repository, destination URL, and time of the click. The site does not require an account and does not use advertising cookies.

Why we collect it

We use the email address to send occasional Ming Dao AI updates about AI projects. We use repository-click records to understand which projects are useful and to keep the publishing system healthy. We do not sell or share subscriber addresses.

Service providers

The site is hosted with Amazon Web Services. Email is sent through Amazon SES. AWS may process this information in the region used by the service. The public site is delivered through Amazon CloudFront.

Retention and control

Confirmation links expire after seven days. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. To request deletion of your subscription record or ask a privacy question, email privacy@mingdaoai.com. We will handle a deletion request within 30 days.

Repository-click records are retained for up to 13 months for aggregate reporting and operational review, then deleted. Unsubscribed subscription records are retained only as long as needed to prevent an accidental re-subscription and to maintain suppression records.
